Hello! I am Jessica Hager, and I started as a school counselor at Lange Middle School in 2025. I have a BA in Communication with a minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri (2009) and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Central Missouri (2012). I taught high school Spanish for 8 years, and middle school English for 1 year.
I grew up near Kansas City, Missouri so I am an avid fan of the Royals and Chiefs. I enjoy cooking, hiking, sporting events, and seeing live music, but I also like relaxing at home with my cats when I have the chance.
As a school counselor, I want to be an advocate for our students and support them as they navigate the ups and downs of middle school life. I enjoy interacting with our students and building positive connections with them!

Hello. I am Erynn Carey, a School Counselor at Lange Middle School. I grew up in Columbia and surrounding towns (Harrisburg, Centralia, Fayette). I have a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia College (2012) and a M.Ed. in Counseling from Stephens College (2017).
I live with my family north of Columbia and enjoy spending time with them doing anything fun. I like to sew, fix things, craft, and watch movies. My favorite band in the whole world is The Shins, but Guster is a close second.
My goal as a School Counselor is to support students and families to ensure students have the best possible chance to reach their full potential during school and into adulthood. My favorite thing about my job is building relationships with my students. They are the best!

Hello, my name is Belinda Woods-Galbreath, and I have been a counselor at Lange Middle School for 14 years. I have a B.S. in Business Management from Chicago State University (1994), M.A. in Early Childhood (1998), M.A. in Leadership and Organization Change, and certification in School Counseling all from Roosevelt University (2000). I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 10 years in Chicago and was a school counselor in high school for three years.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and would come to Columbia, Mo. to visit my family when I was younger. I always wanted to come back to Columbia with family as I got older. I met and married my husband Marshall, and we have been married for twelve years. I love to cook, read, and watch movies.
As a school counselor, I want to ensure that ALL student’s voices are heard and that I help advocate for them. I enjoy watching them grow and become productive and successful.
